About The Artist
Born and raised in Washington DC into a biracial, bicultural, and artistic family, Charis is an Oakland based self taught photographer who has happily honed her skills since retiring from the law. Her work has been displayed in the de Young Open 2023 at the de Young Museum in San Francisco, and the 3rd Annual Celebration of Women Artists at Live Worms Gallery, also in San Francisco.
