The city skyline of San Francisco is extensive and I never tire of wandering around downtown, admiring the architectural marvels. This print is a composite of photographic images of buildings taken in San Francisco in 2022. The images are adjusted in photoshop, and eventually transferred to photopolymer relief plates. The final print was handprinted using 5 plates.

About The Artist
I began studying printmaking in 2010. In 2019, I was accepted into San Francisco’s Graphic Arts Workshop. My print work has a strong architectural and perspective influence. Exhibitions include “Spotlight Exhibition” at Arc Gallery, SF in 2024, “Group Sculpture Show” at Sausalito Center for the Arts in 2023, “California Society of Printmakers Group Show” at Piedmont Art Center in 2023, and “Fortissimo” show at Gallery Route One, Point Reyes Station, CA in 2023.
Artist's Statement
My current exploration in printmaking involves creating abstract compositions from my photographic images of architecture and perspective. I often use photopolymer plates with background monotypes. The work develops in an intuitive and experimental fashion. I “grow” these pieces, adding one plate at a time. The resulting print then forms the basis of what comes next. This dynamic process is what most intrigues me.
