Artist's Statement
My journey as a visual artist and printmaker has been all about experimentation. I love to explore historic processes such as platinum printing, etching and cyanotype. Unique papers, many from Japan, lend individuality to each image. Hand coloring adds with pastels add tonality and depth through palette choices. My final goal as an artist is to create an image that looks familiar yet hauntingly unfamiliar.
