Shelter in Place
Walking through the neighborhood the sounds of children playing are absent, people out walking their dogs politely nod at the required "social distance." Finding solace in the hills and trees bursting with signs of spring and birds beginning to build nests in anticipation of new life. I believe there is a promise in these signs of spring that we will emerge from our cocoons of isolation, a little weary, but wiser in the knowledge that we are stronger than we thought and resilient.

About The Artist
Geri Patterson-Kutras is an accomplished fiber artist. Ms Patterson earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree and has been a working artist for over 20 years and a Juried Artist Member of Studio Art Quilt Associates. Her body of work includes commissions, juried local, regional, national, and, international exhibitions. Her work has appeared in publications and books. In 2023 her work was juried into the de Young Open in San Francisco.
